As a technical writer and children's book author, I'm used to finding solutions and writing happy endings. Right now, my own story faces a major crisis: kidney failure at age 47.

I've spent years fighting a body that seems determined to test my limits every few seasons. Kidney failure is my latest major health battle, and to beat it, I need a living kidney donor. I am a wife, a friend, a daughter, and the proud mom of two beloved fur kids. My life is built around creating, loving, and surviving, but I cannot win this next chapter alone.
